We took our place at the Export Champions Awards Ceremony.

At the “Export Champions Award Ceremony” organized by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), Aegean exporters achieved great success by winning 11 awards.

At the ceremony, 8 Aegean companies experienced the joy of championship in sectoral first places. The awards were presented at the TIM General Assembly by our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, our Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, our Minister of Industry and Technology Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kacır, our Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Osman Aşkın Bak, and TIM Chairman Mr. Mustafa Gültepe.

Habaş Industrial and Medical Gases Production Industry Inc., which has production facilities in Aliağa in the steel sector, became Türkiye’s export champion. In the electricity and electronics sector, Vestel Trade Inc. maintained its top position in 2024 as the company with the highest exports in its sector. In the chemicals and chemical products sector, Turkish Petroleum Refineries Inc. became Türkiye’s export champion, while also achieving the success of being the third company with the highest exports in the general category. STAR REFINERY Inc., which ranked second in the chemical sector, secured fifth place across Türkiye. In the dried fruit sector, Özgür Agricultural Products Industry and Trade Inc., which has previously become an export champion many times, once again became the sector leader in 2024. In the seafood and animal products sector, Kılıç Seafood Production Export Import and Trade Inc. became Türkiye’s export champion, while in the tobacco sector, JTI Tobacco Products Industry Inc. won the export championship award.

Uçak Kardeşler Food Inc., which has been Türkiye’s champion in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Sector since 2017, added a new achievement to its success in 2024. In the Olive and Olive Oil sector, VERDE Oil Food Products Industry and Trade Inc. became the export champion.

Our Aegean exporters continue to hold a strong and pioneering position in Türkiye’s exports.
