Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EİB) awarded 58 of its members as the “Champions of Export” as every year thanks to their significant contributions to export by gaining export revenues of USD 13 billion to Turkish economy notwithstanding the pandemic in 2020.
Kılıç Seafood , having reached an export volume of USD 196 million despite the pandemic, succeeded in maintaining its championship of Aquaculture and Animal Products in Turkey in 2020 as in every other year.
‘Stars of Export Award Ceremony’, a traditional organization held by Aegean Exporters’ Associations every year, was organized in Kaya Termal Convention Hotel the other day after it was postponed due to the pandemic. At the ceremony held with the participation of all sectoral actors, KLC an affiliate of Kılıç Seafood, was recognized with ‘Star of Export’ award thanks to its indisputable leadership in the industry.
As KLC did not lose the championship of Aquaculture and Animal Products exports in Turkey, it maintained its position as the leader of the industry with an export volume of USD 196 million last year.
Mrs Ersin Kılıç Kızıltan, Vice President of Kılıç Seafood, received the sectoral award from Mr İsmail Gülle, President of Turkish Exporters Assembly, in “Stars of Export” 2020 award ceremony.
Mrs Ersin Kılıç Kızıltan, Vice President of Kılıç Seafood, took attention to the sustainable production model of KLC in its success and said, “We made a real achievement by exporting products of USD 196 million in 2020 despite the effects of the pandemic. Particularly, this period demonstrated the value of domestic production once more. Our full-integrated production model and commitment of our employees are among the most important factors in sustainability of our production model. This makes it possible to offer our fish to people around the world and bring foreign exchange to our country.
