Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces of Kılıç Breams
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4-5 pieces of black pepper seeds
  • 6 glasses of water
  • 1 tablespoon of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 teacupful of cream
  • Salt

How to make

  • Put 6 glasses of water into a pot, add one peeled onion, bay leaf, salt and black pepper seeds and then leave it to boil. When the water boils, add the fish and cook for 10 minutes. When cooked, remove the fish to another container and leave them to cool. Strain the stock and set it apart.
  • Melt the butter in the same pot and fry the flour. Add 1 glassful of stock and continue frying. When the mixture reaches slurry consistency, add the rest of stock and leave it to boil. Pick the fish skin and bones off the fish meat and add the meat into the pot in small pieces. Add the cream and remove from the fire. Serve hot.
